Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
  • Fitting floors, panelling, seating, tables, windows, and doors in the interior of rolling stock
  • Electrical tasks, including installation and replacement of traction and rolling stock components
  • Carrying out modifications in accordance with specified procedures
  • Operating rail vehicles as required, within depot operating limits, and in accordance with all relevant operating procedures

Skills and Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, you must have:
  • An NVQ Level 3 qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • Experience of working with rail traction and rolling stock, or commercial / heavy engineering
  • A strong understanding of Depot Operations and mechanical and electrical engineering principles and practices
