The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Fitting floors, panelling, seating, tables, windows, and doors in the interior of rolling stock
- Electrical tasks, including installation and replacement of traction and rolling stock components
- Carrying out modifications in accordance with specified procedures
- Operating rail vehicles as required, within depot operating limits, and in accordance with all relevant operating procedures
Skills and Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, you must have:
- An NVQ Level 3 qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Experience of working with rail traction and rolling stock, or commercial / heavy engineering
- A strong understanding of Depot Operations and mechanical and electrical engineering principles and practices
