Civils Estimator

We are seeking an experienced Civils Estimator to join our team at Pearson Whiffin Recruitment Ltd. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in estimating and tendering for Groundworks and Civil Engineering projects, primarily in Housing and Commercial sectors.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage all aspects of estimating and tendering for Groundworks and Civil Engineering projects.
- Oversee projects from tender stage to completion and final accounts.
- Develop estimates at a level of detail appropriate to the size and complexity of the project.
- Identify potential cost risks.
- Source supplier and sub-contractor quotations.
- Liaise and maintain a good working relationship with Clients, Surveyors, Project Managers, and attend pre-contract meetings when needed.
- Proven experience as a Civils Estimator.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a small team environment.
- Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
