Job Title: Nursing Associate - Children's Services

About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated and caring individual to join our team as a Nursing Associate in our Children's Services. This exciting opportunity will involve working closely with children and families, providing high-quality care and support.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, compassionate care under the direction of a Registered Nurse (or other registered care professional) with a focus on promoting health and independence.
  • Work as part of a designated clinical and care team delivering care that focuses on the direct needs of the individual.
  • Carry out specific delegated clinical and care tasks and responsibilities to a high standard and competency, under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse or other registered care professionals.
  • Develop by the end of the Nursing Associate apprenticeship the ability to work without direct supervision, at times delivering care independently in line with the individuals defined plan of care.

Requirements:

  • UK Maths and English level 2 (including functional skills level 2, GCSE C and above, or O level C or above).
  • Level 3 Healthcare related qualification.
  • Care certificate.
  • Ability to study a program at academic level 5.
  • Experience of working in a clinical healthcare or child care environment.

Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
