Job Title: SEN Cover Supervisor

About the Role:

We are seeking a compassionate and patient individual to support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a South East London school. As a Cover Supervisor, you will provide support to students in the absence of regular teachers, ensuring continuity in their learning experience.

Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise and manage the classroom environment to maintain a safe and inclusive atmosphere conducive to learning.
- Follow lesson plans and instructions provided by teaching staff to facilitate effective learning.
- Foster positive relationships with students and provide emotional support as needed.
- Assist with classroom management, behavior management, and ensuring that students adhere to school policies.
- Collaborate with teaching and support staff to meet the unique needs of SEN students.

Requirements:

- A compassionate and patient manner with a genuine interest in working with students with special educational needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in a dynamic environment.
