Cover Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cover Supervisor to join our team at Teach360. As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing cover for teachers in a secondary school setting, ensuring that students receive a high-quality education and stay on track with their learning.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver lessons that have been left by teachers, ensuring that students understand the material and stay engaged
- Manage classroom behaviour, creating a positive and respectful learning environment
- Assist pupils in becoming more independent learners, providing support and guidance as needed
- Interact with pupils according to their individual needs, establishing trust and building relationships
- Engage students in interactive activities, promoting active learning and participation
Our school is a high-performing secondary school located in the heart of Shoreditch. We provide a friendly and caring environment that allows students to flourish, with a high percentage of students going on to top universities and achieving A-B grades in their GCSEs.
Requirements- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with students and staff
- Good curriculum knowledge, with a strong understanding of Maths, Science, and English
- GCSEs in Maths, Science, and English, or equivalent qualifications
- Excellent behaviour management skills, with the ability to create a positive and respectful learning environment
- SEN knowledge, with the ability to support students with special educational needs
