About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing procurement projects from inception to completion, with a focus on sourcing and contract management. They will work closely with the team to deliver results and help mentor junior staff.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage procurement projects, ensuring timely delivery and effective contract management.
  2. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  3. Collaborate with the team to identify opportunities for improvement and implement changes.
  4. Provide guidance and support to junior staff, helping them to develop their skills and knowledge.
  5. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, applying this knowledge to improve procurement processes.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. At least 5+ years of experience in a commercial or procurement environment.
  2. Experience working in Defence, Aerospace, or Public Sector.
  3. Strong knowledge of sourcing and contract management.
  4. Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
  5. MCIPS qualification is preferred but not essential.
  6. Security Clearance is desirable.
