Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and upgrade of overhead cranes and associated equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, and electromechanical principles, as well as excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular inspections and maintenance tasks on overhead cranes and associated equipment
  • Repair and modify equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety standards
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Degree in electrical, mechanical, or electromechanical engineering
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in heavy industrial plant maintenance
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for customer-facing interactions
