Care Worker Manager

We are seeking a highly experienced and passionate Senior Residential Care Worker to join our team at Fledglings Child Care. As a Senior Residential Care Worker, you will be responsible for managing key staff, including Residential Care Workers and Administrative Staff.
About the RoleThe ideal candidate will have a proven track record of providing high-quality care for young people with complex behavioral issues, as well as providing aspirational leadership and management to staff. You will work closely with the Registered Care Home Manager and the Senior Management team to develop systems that ensure the highest standards of care are maintained.
You will also be responsible for ensuring that each member of staff is aware of each child's placement plan and their responsibilities for its implementation. This includes attending childcare reviews and planning meetings to provide information and achieve best outcomes for young people.
In addition, you will undertake direct work with young people, act as an appropriate role model, and maintain accurate written records in logs, continuation sheets, and files.
Key Responsibilities- To assist the Registered Care Home Manager in implementing company objectives.
- To contribute to devising, implementing, and evaluating changes to continually improve services, systems, and standards.
- To deputise in the absence of the Registered Care Home Manager and Deputy.
- To ensure that each member of staff is aware of each child's placement plan and their responsibilities for its implementation.
- Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People workforce (Level 5 or working towards preferred).
- Current manual driving license required due to job nature.
- Successful applicants must undergo an enhanced DBS disclosure and provide satisfactory references.
