We are currently seeking a skilled Archive Cataloguer to join our team for a temporary 12-month contract. As a member of our team, you will play a critical role in improving the quality and accessibility of our historical collections, which are of immense importance to researchers and historians around the world.

Your primary responsibilities will include creating new catalogue entries for significant scientists who were Fellows of the Royal Society, improving existing name authority records, and contributing to reading room supervision and outreach activities. You will work closely with the curatorial team to ensure that all catalogue entries meet the highest standards of accuracy and completeness.

We are looking for a highly motivated and organized individual with strong communication skills and a keen eye for detail. If you are passionate about archives and have experience in cataloguing or related fields, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:
* Create new archival catalogue entries for 19th century and 20th century collections
* Improve existing name authority records of past Fellows on the Royal Society's biographical database of scientists
* Contribute to reading room supervision and provision of services in the rare materials reading room
* Engage in outreach activities such as compiling blogs about your work
