Support Worker for Independent Lifestyle

We are seeking an experienced care and support professional to join our team in providing personalized assistance to a client living with Cerebral Palsy in the Rossendale area. The role involves supporting the client to maintain an independent lifestyle within their own home and the community.
About the Role- This is a 10-hour per week position, working from 9am-2pm on Saturdays and Sundays.
The successful candidate will have experience in providing care and support services, particularly in areas such as gastronomy care, tracheostomy care, and personal care. A clean full driving license is also essential, as there will be use of a wheelchair-accessible vehicle.
Key Responsibilities- Administer prescribed feed, fluid, and medication, as well as provide tracheostomy care to facilitate ventilation.
- Provide personal care, including incontinence pad changes and measures to maintain skin integrity.
- Assist with domestic duties, such as food preparation, laundry, and cleaning.
- Monitor general health and wellbeing, keeping accurate records.
- Accompany the client to appointments and participate in social activities, including swimming.
- A minimum of £13.91 per hour (with £20.85 per hour for bank holidays).
