About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Distribution System Operator (DSO) to join our team at National Grid Electricity Distribution (NGED). As a DSO, you will play a crucial role in delivering heat, light, and power for homes and businesses in the Midlands, the Southwest of England, and South Wales.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Analyze and forecast network demand to inform strategic investment options and support the Network Development Plan.
  2. Manage commercial and contractual interfaces with the National Energy System Operator (NESO).
  3. Drive innovative initiatives at the transmission-distribution interface to improve connections and efficiency.

Requirements

To be eligible for this role, you must have a minimum 2:2 degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering, Business Administration, Mathematics, Sciences, or Data Science. You must also have a full valid UK driving license and be able to travel within the UK.
