Job Overview

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the production planning team to maintain and update work centre schedules in ORsoft and SAP, addressing capacity issues proactively.
  • Develop and manage short- and long-term production plans to support operation cells and ensure alignment with project timelines.
  • Collaborate with production engineering and procurement to keep routing durations accurate.
  • Implement KPIs to track department performance, fostering continuous improvement.
  • Ensure effective team communication through regular SQDCPI meetings and manage key SAP transactions as Planning Coordinator.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Relevant experience in engineering or manufacturing, particularly with one-off products.
  • Leadership and motivational skills to leverage team strengths and address areas for improvement.
  • SAP knowledge in WM and PP modules and familiarity with ORsoft.
  • Strong communication skills for clear, action-oriented directives.
  • Organisational abilities with a detail-oriented approach.
  • Adaptability and change management skills to guide process improvements.
  • Knowledge of Lean principles for efficiency and cost reduction.
