We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Anaesthetist to join our team as a Lead Anaesthetist. This is a clinical leadership role that requires a strong understanding of anaesthetic services and the ability to manage anaesthetic resource across the hospital.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing anaesthetic services to support elective orthopaedics, general surgery, urology, ENT, oral surgery, ophthalmology, gynaecology, pain services, and endoscopy. They will work closely with our team of Consultants across a wide range of specialisms and the hospital's Medical Director.
The ideal candidate will have several years' experience as an Anaesthetist, with at least 2 years' experience in the UK. They will be committed to their own continuing medical education and professional development, and will have a strong track record of delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities- Provide anaesthetic services to support elective orthopaedics, general surgery, urology, ENT, oral surgery, ophthalmology, gynaecology, pain services, and endoscopy
- Manage anaesthetic resource across the hospital
- Work closely with our team of Consultants across a wide range of specialisms and the hospital's Medical Director
- Deliver high-quality patient care and contribute to the development of Clinical Quality Standards
- Participate in our audit and clinical governance programme
