Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll for our employees. You will work closely with the Payroll Manager and contribute to maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Process payroll accurately and efficiently, adhering to strict deadlines.
- Manage employee data, including new hires, terminations, and changes in status.
- Calculate and process salaries, wages, bonuses, and other compensation.
- Administer leave of absence requests and ensure compliance with applicable policies.
- Prepare and submit payroll reports to relevant authorities, such as HMRC and pension providers.
- Maintain accurate payroll records and documentation.
- Assist with year-end payroll processes and reporting.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of payroll procedures and systems.
Qualifications and Experience
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Proven experience as a Payroll Specialist or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of payroll legislation and regulations.
- Proficiency in payroll software applications.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
