Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Respiratory Physiotherapist to join our team at Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide specialist respiratory physiotherapy assessment and intervention to children and young people aged 0-19 years with respiratory complications.

Main Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse caseload of children and young people with respiratory physiotherapy needs, in accordance with departmental clinical pathways, protocols, and guidelines.

• Conduct specialist respiratory clinical assessments and interventions, formulate management plans and reports, and deliver training programs for a wide range of professionals, carers, and parents.

• Work autonomously and collaboratively with other Allied Health Professionals, Consultants, Community Paediatricians, Community Children's Nurses, education staff, and social services to deliver high-quality care for children and young people in Coventry.

We provide a full range of expanding physical, mental health, and learning disability services to children, young adults, adults, and older adults across Coventry, Warwickshire, and Solihull. Our services are provided to a population of over one million people, and we see approximately 5,000 patients every day.

Requirements

• Physiotherapy degree or equivalent

• Registration with the Health Professions Council

• Excellent written communication and IT skills

• Postgraduate training relevant to the client group

• Transferable skills as a qualified physiotherapist and clinical respiratory physiotherapy experience with transferable skills to a paediatric caseload

• Car driver/owner (public transport may not meet the requirements of this role)
