About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Graduate Engineer to join our team at Sigma Recruitment. As a Graduate Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, gaining hands-on experience in various disciplines, including manufacturing processes, utilities, automation, and facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure a clear understanding of the job requirements to deliver projects to the correct standard and quality.
  • Prepare and sign off all mandatory documentation (RAMS, Permit to Work, Technical Validations, Change Management, etc.).
  • Schedule work in conjunction with site and 3rd party contractors.
  • Take ownership of specific tasks as directed.
  • Ensure RAMS are obtained and reviewed from 3rd party suppliers ahead of the commencement of the works.
  • Communicate with all relevant parties and ensure they are aware of upcoming tasks.
  • Collect verification data following the completion of tasks as required.
  • Raise any change management controls that may be required.
  • Supervise contractors to ensure all site rules and permit controls are adhered to.
Requirements
  • A degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related engineering field.
  • Experience from a year-in-industry, industrial placement, or post-studies is desirable.
  • A full driver's license and access to a vehicle.
What We Offer
  • Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 (depending on experience).
  • 7% pension contribution.
  • 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays.
  • Cash plan healthcare.
  • Working Hours: 8am-5pm, Monday to Friday, with occasional flexibility required.
