Staff Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Staff Nurse to join our esteemed Eye Unit at Benenden Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to the development of our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and prepare theatre lists, ensuring seamless execution of surgical procedures.
- Accurately enter patient information into our IT systems, maintaining data integrity and confidentiality.
- Ensure patient care areas are safe, well-maintained, and meet the highest standards of hygiene.
- Maintain the secure custody of medications and controlled substances, adhering to hospital protocols.
- Supervise junior team members, providing clinical guidance and mentorship to support their growth and development.
Requirements:
- First-level Registered Nurse with a strong background in ophthalmic care.
- Desirable: Ophthalmic experience, willingness to undertake training, and ILS certification.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills, with a patient-centered approach.
- Strong computer skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Demonstrate a commitment to professionalism, integrity, and ethics in the workplace.
