Job Title: PCB Design Engineer

We are seeking a skilled PCB Design Engineer to join our team at Terry Parris Associates. As a key partner with leading medical devices, semiconductor, scientific analytics, and industrial systems manufacturers, we take pride in powering progress in health, security, and quality of life.

Main Objectives:
  • Design of PCB layouts, electrical schematics, and electrical diagrams
  • Assisting in mechanical design and supporting Manufacturing Engineering
Key Responsibilities:
  • PCB design for our products' power supplies and control electronics
  • Schematic entry from design engineering sketches
  • Creating and modifying 3D models and assemblies, including piece part information
  • Generating and maintaining part information and bills of materials
  • Maintaining PCB library and DCC drawing system
  • Producing system schematics, wiring diagrams, and schedules
  • Adhering to the Company's ISO 9001 Quality, ISO14001 Environmental, and Health and Safety management systems
Requirements:
  • HNC or equivalent in a relevant discipline
  • Proven expertise and experience in PCB design (preferably to IPC Standard) and mechanical design
  • Knowledge of analogue, digital, and surface mount technologies
  • Computer literacy and knowledge of MS Office
  • Proficiency in CAD packages for PCB and mechanical design (experience in Cadstar, eCadstar, Board Modeller, Inventor, and AutoCAD is a distinct advantage)

The successful candidate will be a close fit for this position and will be registered for any upcoming positions that may be suitable.
