About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Branch Manager Assistant to join our team at Travis Perkins. As a key member of our branch team, you will be responsible for supporting the Branch Manager in managing all aspects of the branch and business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Branch Manager in managing branch operations, including staff supervision, customer service, and sales.
  • Develop and implement initiatives to improve branch performance, customer satisfaction, and sales.
  • Collaborate with the Branch Manager to identify and address areas for improvement.
  • Provide expert advice to customers on products and services, and recommend alternatives to meet their individual needs.
  • Ensure all colleagues and customers leave the branch safely, adhering to stay safe policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a builders' merchant or similar industry is advantageous.
  • Transferable skills in Inspirational Leadership, Operational Management, Sales, Great Customer Service, and Commercial Acumen.
  • Passionate, inspirational, and engaging leader, able to delegate successfully and empower colleagues to take accountability.
  • Highly adaptable, resilient, and tenacious with high levels of energy and drive.
