About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Chef de Partie to join our team at Coast & Country Hotel Collection. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for supporting the Head Chef in the efficient and effective running of the kitchen.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook menu items to the highest standards, ensuring consistency and quality.
  • Stay up-to-date with the day's business, including reservations and menu offerings.
  • Ensure all dishes are prepared in a timely and efficient manner, meeting the approved standards of presentation.
  • Avoid unnecessary wastage and maintain a cost-effective approach to food preparation.
  • Adhere to excellent food hygiene practices throughout the food chain, from storage to preparation and service.
  • Contribute to maintaining a clean and tidy kitchen and storage areas.
  • Ensure HACCP compliance and report any maintenance issues to your manager.
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a commis chef or chef de partie in a hotel kitchen.
  • Ability to follow standards and possess good organisational skills.
  • Capacity to make decisions in a fast-paced environment and work well under pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with the kitchen and restaurant team.
  • Active team player who supports colleagues and ensures a positive working environment.
