About the Role

Macklin Care Homes is seeking an experienced and skilled Cook to join their team at Milesian Manor Residential Lifestyle Home. This is a vital role within the Care Home, responsible for managing the kitchen team to deliver high-quality, nutritious, and delicious meals to residents.

Key Responsibilities:

The Cook will be responsible for:

  • Managing team members within the Kitchen to ensure the delivery of wholesome and nutritious meals.
  • Developing and implementing a structured menu plan that caters to individual dietary needs and preferences.
  • Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and safety.
  • Collaborating with the kitchen team to ensure efficient and effective meal preparation and service.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum three years' experience in a similar role.
  • Previous management experience.
  • Food Hygiene and COSHH training.
  • Good General Health (medically fit).
