Executive Chef

We are seeking an exceptional Executive Chef to join our team at Milesian Manor Lifestyle Care Home in Magherafelt. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for managing the kitchen and ensuring the delivery of wholesome and nutritious meals to our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise kitchen staff to ensure the efficient functioning of the department.
- Innovate and implement new ideas for the kitchen to enhance the dining experience for our residents.
- Proactively manage the kitchen staff to ensure meals of a high standard are produced at all times.
- Responsible for the preparation, cooking, and serving of meals for residents.
- Maintain a high standard of hygiene and food safety in the kitchen and store.
- Liaise with nursing staff regarding residents' dietary needs and special occasions.
- Ensure compliance with COSHH regulations and maintain relevant hygiene and health and safety standards.
Requirements:
- Food Hygiene & COSHH training.
- Good general health and a good command of written and spoken English.
- Ability to communicate with the elderly and work set hours, flexible to meet the needs of the organisation.
