Job Title: Registered Nurse - Eating Disorders Specialist

Job Summary:

Priory Hospital Bristol is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Eating Disorder Service. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients with eating disorders, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver effective treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized care to patients with eating disorders, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to deliver effective treatment plans, including medication management, therapy, and education.
  • Conduct regular reviews and assessments to ensure patient safety and well-being.
  • Develop and maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and services.

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse qualification (RGN or RMN) and current registration with the NMC.
  • Experience working with patients with eating disorders, preferably in a specialist setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, as required.
  • Knowledge of eating disorder treatment principles and practices, including CBT and DBT.
