Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Band 6 Staff Nurse to join our Urology Pre-Assessment Clinic team at University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the smooth operation of the clinic.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and manage patients undergoing urology procedures, ensuring accurate and timely documentation of patient information.
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions between departments.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient experience.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of clinical policies and procedures.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical guidelines and best practices in urology nursing.
Requirements:
- Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
- Experience in urology nursing or a related specialty.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
