About the Role

The Oxfordshire County Council is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic teaching assistant to join our specialist resource base at The Lord Williams School. As a teaching assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting children with Autism and Communication and Interaction differences to access the curriculum and participate fully in school life.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide directed support, care, and supervision to children with Autism and Communication and Interaction differences
  • Work closely with specialist teachers and mainstream subject teachers to develop and implement individualized support plans
  • Facilitate full inclusion in school life by supporting children to learn as independently as possible and develop to their full potential
  • Join a supportive and skilled team of support staff and teachers who are experienced and well-respected in the school
