Job Description

This is an excellent opportunity to work as a Hospital Services Supervisor within the Hotel Services department at Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing service guidance and support to staff responsible for service delivery, quality, and monitoring.

Main Responsibilities
  • Manage Housekeeping Services at Prince Charles Hospital to ensure cleaning services are delivered to agreed specifications.
  • Work with the Hotel Services Team Leader to implement operational policies, procedures, schedules of work, safe systems of work, and audit their implementation.
  • Review working practices regularly to respond to legislation, internal and external influences such as Agenda for Change and the Working Time Directive.

The post holder will be required to perform supplementary duties to respond to service needs and that are appropriate to the Facilities services and in line with their banding.

Salary and Benefits

This is a permanent position with a competitive salary range of £28,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition, you will receive a comprehensive benefits package including annual leave, pension scheme, and training opportunities.

This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
