Senior Electronics Engineer

Newton Colmore Consulting Ltd is working with a defence and security company in Cambridge, and we are helping them find a senior electronics engineer for their R&D team.
This is a unique role that will incorporate hands-on hardware development with cyber security technology across hardware, software, and infrastructure. Vulnerabilities at the intersection of these points can result in confidential information being stolen, and malicious software being installed.
You will have responsibility for the full design lifecycle, from initial concept through to readying the product for deployment. You will be joining a team of world-class engineers and scientists, and for this role, you will require the highest level of security clearance.
To be considered for this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of electronics hardware, software architecture, and cyber security. Any experience with sensors would be advantageous to your application. This experience will stem from an electronics degree, and you will need to have knowledge of physics and mathematics.
The company are offering bespoke salaries and packages as they are open to candidate seniority levels. With these come a monetary bonus programme, excellent employer pension contributions, and a series of other benefits. They have also just moved into their new state-of-the-art HQ.
For more information, please contact us, and a member of our team will be in touch with more details.
