Job Title: Management Accountant - Hospitality Sector

The prime purpose of this role is to manage the day-to-day accounting functions associated with the Hospitality sector.

Client Details

Our client is the vibrant and exciting sector of the world's largest catering company. They work at some of the greatest venues in the world, delivering legendary experiences in food, drink, and hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the appropriate financial controls, procedures, and processes
  • Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, including management Profit & Loss Statements and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Prepare annual budget, flash forecast, weekly trading report, and trading updates
  • Produce ad hoc reports as requested by senior management
  • Produce complete, accurate, and timely management accounts. Correct errors and omissions, and reconcile all key balance sheet control accounts for the contract
  • Reconcile all payroll forecasts with actual payroll costs and review with the GM any variances

Requirements

A successful Location Accountant should have:

  • Part or studying CIMA/ACCA
  • Proven experience in an accounting/finance role, MUST be within hospitality
  • Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and financial reporting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; experience with accounting software
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility to travel and work on location as needed
