Cygnet Hospital Woking is seeking a skilled and experienced Ward Manager to lead our team of professionals in delivering exceptional care to our patients. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for implementing clinical and administrative policies, procedures, and regulations, ensuring compliance by others, and supporting staff through debriefs, appraisals, training, and development of evidence-based practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality nursing care and be a role model to junior staff.
  • Implement clinical and administrative policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Ensure compliance by others of policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Support staff through debriefs, appraisals, training, and development of evidence-based practice.
  • Participate in the unit coordinator rota system to provide the first point of contact for ward-based staff.

Requirements:

  • A qualified RMN/RNLD with a valid NMC pin number.
  • Committed to delivering improvement strategies across all aspects of clinical service provision.
  • Experienced working with service users with personality disorder.
  • Well-informed of the Mental Health Act 1983 and the latest nursing practices.
  • Focused on patient recovery to monitor, manage, and reduce risk.
