Behavioural Support Specialist

At Liquid Personnel, we are seeking a Behavioural Support Specialist to join our team. As a Behavioural Support Specialist, you will work closely with teaching staff to support the education and development of children and young people with challenging behaviour.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1-2-1 support to students with challenging behaviour, using effective behaviour management strategies to promote positive behaviour and encourage participation in learning activities.
- Collaborate with teaching staff and external professionals to develop tailored learning plans for students, monitoring progress and behaviour, and reporting any concerns.
- Support the social and emotional development of students, promoting self-esteem and confidence.
- Encourage and motivate students to engage in learning, providing additional support where necessary.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to further enhance your knowledge and skills.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children or young people with challenging behaviour is essential.
- Excellent behaviour management skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with others.
- A patient and resilient attitude, with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- A relevant qualification in Psychology, Counselling, Education, or a related field is desirable.
