Job Title: Groundworks Working Supervisor

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Groundworks Working Supervisor to join our team at Aspion Search. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the processing department, ensuring maximum efficiency and minimizing lead times.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise works foremen and warehouse operatives, manage shift patterns, and ensure effective task delegation.
  • Work closely with sales and transport teams to optimize daily outputs and meet customer needs.
  • Lead training programs to develop a multi-skilled workforce, ensuring all employees are well-versed in their duties and safety procedures.
  • Manage the Safety Cloud portal for ISO45001:2018 compliance, oversee PPE adherence, and conduct safety drills and audits.
  • Ensure all personnel follow quality systems and procedures in line with ISO 9001:2015 standards.
  • Monitor and control warehouse costs, ensuring they stay within budget.
  • Oversee the maintenance schedule for site equipment and facilities, ensuring all repairs and checks are completed promptly.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a managerial role within a similar industry; metals, manufacturing, engineering.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations, particularly ISO45001.
  • Familiarity with quality assurance standards, especially ISO 9001.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary of £38,000 - £40,000 per annum.
  • A Monday to Thursday 8:45 am - 5:00 pm, Friday 8:45 am - 4:30 pm working schedule.
  • 25 days annual leave + Bank Holiday.
