About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Children's Residential Support Worker to join our team at White Trees Group. As a Therapeutic Project Worker, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and nurturing environment for vulnerable young people.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support and encourage children to progress towards their full potential, promoting their emotional and psychological well-being.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of each young person's needs, creating individualized care plans that cater to their unique requirements.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery, advocating for the young person's needs and interests.
  • Engage in therapeutic interventions, promoting positive behavior and supporting the young person's emotional regulation.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of risk assessments and positive behavior plans, ensuring the young person's safety and well-being.
  • Participate in regular supervision and training to enhance your skills and knowledge, staying up-to-date with best practices in residential care.
Requirements
  • Kind, caring, and professional approach, with a strong commitment to providing high-quality care.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, promoting a culture of respect and open communication.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with young people, colleagues, and external partners.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
  • Valid DBS check and ability to work with vulnerable young people.
