Job Title: Researcher - WATCH Study

We are seeking a highly motivated Researcher to play a key role in the Widening Access to Trials in Care Homes (WATCH) Study. This is a full-time, temporary position until August 2026.

The WATCH Study is funded by the NIHR's Vaccine Innovation Programme and aims to develop best practice guidelines for recruiting care home residents into clinical trials of new vaccines.

The successful candidate will be a vital member of a Scotland-wide consortium comprising clinicians, academics, and public and patient involvement members. They will be responsible for conducting scoping reviews of medical literature, summarizing evidence, collecting new data from qualitative research, and writing scientific manuscripts and guidance documents with support from the expert supervisory and project management team.

To be successful in this role, the candidate will require a degree in a relevant scientific or clinical field, experience in clinical research, and a sound knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) Guidelines. They will also need excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and IT skills.
