Job Description

We are seeking a qualified teacher of mathematics to join our successful and well-regarded mathematics department. The role involves teaching mathematics to all pupils in S1 to S4, with classes organised into ability sets throughout. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the development of mathematics at the college through an ability to undertake successfully the following tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To teach a full range of classes in mathematics, including applications, iGCSE, and advanced highers.
  • To create an effective teaching and learning environment that promotes pupil engagement and motivation.
  • To maintain accurate records of pupil performance and assessment, providing constructive feedback to pupils.
  • To assist with curricular developments and share responsibility with colleagues for maintaining good discipline, behaviour, and conduct amongst pupils.
