About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer with a passion for data engineering to join our team at Hexegic. As a key member of our software development team, you will play a crucial role in helping our customers build and maintain data applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop front-end/user-facing applications that integrate with proprietary commercial software
  • Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, product owners, and other engineers to ensure seamless data integration and software functionality
  • Utilize PySpark for large-scale data pipelines and retrieve data for integration into data processing pipelines
  • Work closely with the team to develop software development practices, including version control and pull request management
Requirements
  • Proficiency in Python or familiarity with similar languages
  • Awareness of data engineering principles and practices
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team environment
