Nurse Care Specialist

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at Darcy House Care Home. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, person-centered care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Craft personalized care plans that cater to the unique needs of each resident.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of resident care.
- Lead and guide your care team to deliver exceptional care.
- Facilitate seamless transitions and ensure continuity of care.
- Monitor resident health and well-being, and take appropriate action when necessary.
- Administer medications safely and in accordance with MAR sheets and protocols.
- Build strong relationships with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Promote independence and encourage residents to engage in daily activities.
- Act on feedback and prioritize resident health and well-being.
- Champion respect and dignity for every resident.
- Encourage social interactions and activities to enrich the lives of residents.
- Prioritize safety and maintain a secure environment for all.
- Support balanced nutrition and hydration, and monitor residents at risk of weight changes or dehydration.
- Respond to emergencies and utilize the on-call system to continually improve our care.
About You:
- You are a Registered General or Mental Health Nurse (RGN or RMN) with an active NMC Nursing PIN.
- You have a passion for care and a dedication to improving the lives of our residents.
- You have a natural ability to connect with people and bring warmth, understanding, and a calm, patient demeanor to every interaction.
- Communication is your superpower, whether you're talking with a resident about their needs, updating a family member, or guiding your care team.
