About the Role

The Priory Group is seeking a skilled Registered Learning Disabilities Staff Nurse to join our team at Hazelwood House. As a key member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to adults with complex needs, including those with learning disabilities and mental health conditions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver prescribed care to a defined group within an agreed framework.
  • Assess, plan, and deliver nursing care that takes account of patient choice and wishes.
  • Accurately observe and engage with patients to assess their needs and evaluate their progress.
  • Monitor and review nursing care plans.
  • Evaluate and respond to changes in patients' conditions and needs.
  • Deal proactively and effectively with suggestions and complaints from patients and their families/carers.
  • Contribute to a team approach to patient care in conjunction with all members of the multi-disciplinary team.
  • Prioritize nursing duties and delegate appropriately and effectively within the shift coordination framework.

Requirements

  • Registered Learning Disabilities Nurse qualification.
  • Experience working with adults with complex needs, including those with learning disabilities and mental health conditions.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
