Community Children's Services Worker

This is an excellent opportunity to make a difference in the lives of children, young people, and their families by joining our pilot project as an Outreach Family Support Worker. The role will involve providing outreach and home-based support to families in need, working closely with multi-agency teams to ensure the best possible outcomes.
The successful candidate will be required to provide targeted support to children, young people, and families, developing and implementing plans to address identified needs. They will also be responsible for maintaining accurate and reflective records in line with Recording with Care guidelines.
Responsibilities:- Deliver high-quality outreach and home-based support to children, young people, and families.
- Collaborate with professionals from Health, Education, Children's Centres, and other services to meet the diverse needs of families.
- Communicate effectively with children, families, and other professionals, ensuring clear and consistent information sharing.
- Work independently and as part of a wider team to ensure effective service delivery.
- Be flexible in working hours to meet the needs of the service.
- NVQ Level 3 in Childcare and Education, NND, or Health and Social Care qualification.
- Proven experience in direct work with children, young people, and their families.
- Experience in multi-agency working to support families and children's development.
- Skilled in delivering outreach and home-based support to address identified needs.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a car and laptop.
- Knowledge of child development and understanding of child protection issues.
