**Job Description:** Child Learning Assistant

We are seeking a skilled and caring Child Learning Assistant to support a child with special educational needs in Key Stage 2. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing individualized support to help the child access the curriculum, manage challenges, and build confidence.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with teachers to develop and implement personalized learning plans
  • Support the child's academic, social, and emotional development
  • Assist with lesson planning and preparation, as needed
  • Communicate regularly with parents and other professionals to ensure seamless support

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children with special educational needs (SEN) is desirable but not essential
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of the child and the school
