Specialist Pharmacist Role in Frailty Services

We are seeking a skilled Pharmacist to join our team in Frailty Services, providing specialist pharmacy input and working closely with our Healthcare for Older People Teams.

This exciting new role offers the opportunity to develop specialist Frailty knowledge and training, as well as to influence the wider development of the service.

The Trust has an electronic patient record (EPIC), a multi-million-pound research facility, and a significant development budget, making it an ideal place to grow and develop your career.

As a Specialist Pharmacist in Frailty Services, you will work in a friendly and ambitious pharmacy department, providing core services to a population of 615,000 across Devon.

Our Trust is committed to the development of its people, offering opportunities for leadership training, involvement in research, teaching, and the potential to shape and develop the role and service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialist pharmacy input in Frailty Services
  • Work closely with Healthcare for Older People Teams
  • Develop specialist Frailty knowledge and training
  • Influence the wider development of the service

Requirements:

  • Pharmacist registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council
  • Experience in Frailty Services or a related field
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
