Rail Infrastructure Project Manager

**Job Overview:**
Anderselite is seeking a highly skilled Rail Infrastructure Project Manager to manage the commercial aspects of diverse rail infrastructure projects across the Northwest region. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring contracts deliver maximum value while fostering positive and equitable relationships with subcontractors.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Taking charge of the financial and contractual elements of projects, including reviewing subcontractor applications for payment, issuing payment notices and certificates, and preparing monthly cost reports.
- Reviewing and actioning contractual correspondence, submitting final accounts, and maintaining an understanding of standard forms of construction contracts.
- Negotiating agreements and resolving disputes to maintain efficiency and profitability, as well as overseeing project variations by assessing their financial implications and delivering clear updates to clients during progress meetings.
**Requirements:**
- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
- 3 years experience undertaking a similar role preferably for a main contractor, with a proven track record in managing risks and opportunities across transport, rail, civil or traditional build.
- Conversant in software packages such as Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook, as well as possessing a driving license.
**Estimated Salary:** £Competitive (negotiable subject to experience) per annum, based on the location and industry standards.
**Location:** Manchester (Hybrid), with opportunities to work remotely with intermittent visits to the office.
