Job Title: Hygiene Team Leader (Night Shift)
Location: Ledbury Area
Pay Rate: £14.50 per hour
Contract: Temporary ongoing with permanent opportunities after 12 weeks
Gap Personnel, acting as an employment business, partners with Newberry International in Ledbury (HR8).
As a Hygiene Team Leader, you will ensure the factory areas and machinery are cleaned to a high standard, following the cleaning schedule. You will work as part of a team and take on a leadership role to ensure tasks are completed, signed off, and any issues are communicated and followed up with the technical department. You will promote food safety and good manufacturing practices.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Perform scheduled hygiene work and complete relevant records.
2. Have a thorough understanding of the cleaning systems, schedules, and procedures throughout the factory.
3. Collaborate with the technical team to ensure all activities comply with GMP and quality procedures.
4. Carry out instructions as given by management.
5. Be familiar with the safe preparation and handling of cleaning chemicals and disinfectants used in conjunction with hygiene duties.
6. Immediately report any potential hygiene and health & safety hazards and/or unsafe working practices to management.
