Job Title: Head of Service Development

We are seeking an experienced and ambitious leader to join our team as Head of Service Development. As a key member of our senior management team, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of our children's services strategy.

About the Role:

  • Lead the development and implementation of our children's services strategy
  • Oversee the Social Work Academy and work with local colleges and universities to offer a wide range of routes into social work and social care
  • Develop services across Early Help, Child in Need, statutory interventions, and our residential homes, responding to government and regulatory changes
  • Advocate for our workforce, ensuring they have the right support in place to carry out their duties effectively
  • Work regionally and nationally to ensure Stockton-on-Tees is engaged and informed in trailblazer opportunities, funding, and changes in national practice
