Purchase Ledger Clerk Role

We are seeking an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our client in Peterborough due to growth. This role is ideal for someone who can ensure the efficient running of the department, adhering to company accounting policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all aspects of the purchase ledger, including reconciliations and planning.
  • Process payments for suppliers and register invoices.
  • Strive for a consistently high standard of ledger maintenance to ensure accurate information is available for decision-making.

Requirements:

  • High attention to detail and ability to input data accurately.
  • Self-management skills and ability to work independently.
  • Good IT skills and ability to retain information.

Benefits:

  • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.
  • Salary £25,000 - £26,000 dependent on experience.
  • 37.5 hours a week, Monday to Friday, or part-time options available.
