We are seeking a passionate Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) and Learning Disability Nurse (RNLD) to join our team as a Preceptorship Nurse. In this role, you will provide excellent, professional, and effective care to our patients. If you believe you can make a difference in the lives of those living with chronic, complex mental, and sometimes physical health needs, this could be the ideal opportunity for you.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, implement, evaluate, and record patient-centered care plans.
- Work collaboratively as a Primary Nurse within the multidisciplinary team, including liaising with associated professionals and other agencies.
- Facilitate daily hospital activities.
- Ensure effective communication with service users, carers, visitors, and staff.
- Implement effective use of the Mental Health Act where necessary.
- Maintain a learning environment.
- Assist with the development and/or revision of local policies and procedures as necessary.
As a Preceptorship Nurse with Nouvita, you will be part of a driven and passionate team. You will be working in a fast-paced but rewarding environment with a great team. You will be expected to display aptitude, enthusiasm, and professionalism, and will be a role model for junior members of the team.
Training and DevelopmentWe are proud to provide an in-house training program of up to 11 annual classes that will prepare you for any eventuality. Whether the class is a refresher or something new, we find that the benefits of maintaining a constant learning environment cannot be overstated.
