About The Role

We are seeking a passionate Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) and Learning Disability Nurse (RNLD) to join our driven and passionate team as a Preceptorship Nurse. In this role, you will provide excellent, professional, and effective care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, evaluate, and record patient-centered care plans.
  • Work collaboratively as a Primary Nurse within the multidisciplinary team, including liaising with associated professionals and other agencies.
  • Facilitate daily hospital activities.
  • Ensure effective communication with service users, carers, visitors, and staff.
  • Implement effective use of the Mental Health Act where necessary.
  • Maintain a learning environment.
  • Assist with the development and/or revision of local policies and procedures as necessary.
What To Expect

As a Preceptorship Nurse, you will play a pivotal role within the hospital, not only as a care professional but also as a mentor and guide to our excellent team of support workers. You will be working in a fast-paced but rewarding environment with a great team.

Training and Development

We are proud to provide an in-house training program of up to 11 annual classes that will prepare you for any eventuality. Whether the class is a refresher or something new, we find that the benefits of maintaining a constant learning environment cannot be overstated.

During your induction into Nouvita, you will undergo a paid e-learning course, as well as a 5-day training program (also paid) to equip you with everything you need to get started. After which, your continued development will be tailored to your and the hospital's needs.
