About the Role

We are seeking an ambitious and passionate Head of Music to lead our dynamic department at a thriving and inclusive secondary school in Coventry.

As the Head of Music, you will:

  • Lead the Music Department, delivering a creative and engaging curriculum across Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Inspire students to develop their musical skills, from theory to performance.
  • Collaborate with other departments to showcase music in school productions and events.
  • Drive extracurricular activities, such as choir, orchestra, and music clubs.
  • Manage resources, oversee planning, and ensure the highest standards of teaching and learning.

What We're Looking For

UK QTS (Qualified Teacher Status). Proven experience teaching Music at Key Stages 3 and 4. A track record of inspiring students and promoting a love for music. Estimated salary: £45,000 - £60,000 per annum.
