Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our dynamic team at K&C Construction Limited. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for leading and managing all aspects of construction projects from inception to completion.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in project management within the construction industry, with a strong understanding of building regulations, construction contracts, and industry standards. You will be able to manage projects and adapt to changing priorities, as well as possess excellent leadership skills and ability to work under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage all aspects of construction projects, from inception to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and work programmes.
  • Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure clear communication and project alignment.
  • Take an active role in the procurement of materials, equipment, and labour, optimizing resources for maximum efficiency.
  • Ensure all work complies with building regulations, health and safety standards, and contractual requirements.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement solutions to overcome challenges.
  • Prepare and present regular project reports to senior management and clients, ensuring clear communication of timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Work closely with the commercial team, ensuring costs are managed effectively and within contractual terms.
  • Ensure quality control, safety, and compliance with design specifications.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager within the construction industry (minimum 5 years).
  • Degree or HNC in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or an equivalent level qualification within the industry (CSCS / SMSTS / CITB).
  • Valid SMSTS and First Aid certificates.
  • Strong knowledge of building regulations, construction contracts, and industry standards.
  • Ability to manage projects and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Experience in managing teams, including contractors and subcontractors, with excellent leadership skills.
  • Good general IT skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
  • Full driving license.
