About the Role

Making Space is seeking a dedicated Social Care Professional to join our team. As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and support to service users with learning disabilities, complex needs, and challenging behaviors. Your primary focus will be on creating a safe and nurturing environment that promotes the well-being and independence of our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care, administer medication, and assist with domestic tasks
  • Develop and implement individualized support plans to meet the unique needs of each service user
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care and support
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client progress and care plans

Requirements

  • No prior industry experience or specific qualifications are required, as comprehensive training and support will be provided
  • Able to demonstrate a genuine passion for delivering high-quality care and support
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
