Job Summary

Queen Elizabeth's Foundation for Disabled People seeks to appoint a highly skilled Registered Day Nurse to join its multi-disciplinary team in a state-of-the-art care and rehabilitation centre. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in adult care, with a passion for delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of innovative rehabilitation services.

Main Responsibilities

As a Registered Day Nurse, you will be responsible for monitoring and managing the clinical needs of clients undergoing rehabilitation, ensuring their physical and personal well-being is maintained to the highest standard. This will involve:

  • Implementing and evaluating care plans and therapy guidelines in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
  • Administering medication and continence care in accordance with established protocols
  • Maintaining accurate clinical records and contributing to the development of effective discharge plans
  • Liaising with external professionals, including medical personnel, to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Providing training and supervision to support staff, ensuring adherence to Health and Safety standards

About You

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse with a valid NMC pin and evidence of post-registration education and practice. A mentorship qualification is desirable but not essential.
